Hey all , just asking where an when is the next car swap meets in melbourne i remember long ago footscray market in melbourne used to have car swap meet,

yeh im interested also i know cranbourne is comming up but they stopped footscray a few years ago due to aspestos in the roof!!! was a great swap that too also whittlesea should be comming up as well as the big one at bendigo id love to know some dates too if anyone knows them cheers...

The Kustom Nationals is a three day fun filled party, starting on Friday January 9th at Cowes when Kustoms and Hot Rods take over the town for the Beach Party. Saturday you will be treated to the Rockabilly Festival held at the Grand Prix track from 8am till 8pm, with non-stop music featuring the cream of Rockabilly bands from around Australia, and later in the evening the bands relocate to local hotels and the party continues!
Sunday the emphasis will be on non-stop cruisin’ of the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix track, while some Rockabilly bands will continue to provide entertainment.

a swap meet is like a trash and treasure market but its mostly dedicated to cars and generally great bargins to be had cheers...

Too bad that things are getting pretty scarce now.. especially with eBay and alike. I've found the last couple good parts are getting thin on the ground.

Not to say that I won't be at Bendigo... does help that i've got a wedding to attend that weekend there!
