Not Lego, but Cobi (from Poland), do some nice Military kits.

I’m building the HMS Hood in 1:300 scale and will follow that with the Bismarck ( which I also have).

The blocks are compatible with Lego, so if you’re a Military Buff, Cobi have kits ready for you ( unless you want to design your own builds).

I’ve also built these two beauties.

In honor I guess of the “Masters of the Air” TV series.

So the rumoured new 1:8 supercar seems to be close, McLaren P1. Meant to be August but who knows.

Ive built nothing for ages, but i always loved the big supercar building experience. I might have to get it to go with these 4!

Unveiled a few days ago, already folks slagging it off as per usual.

Ill get it once its released to go with the others above.
The people saying it looks rubbish are comparing it to this.

Its amazing, but being able to find all the parts would be a battle.
Few other new technic sets being released aswell which might be worth buying like the new G Wagon.

Couldnt help myself (i did have some vouchers also) ordered the P1 this week, hopefully here mid next week. If this doesnt get me back into Lego nothing will.
Target also had a good special on that G wagon above, but i missed it. Seems strange as it was only just released. I think they do it knowing it'll get posted by someone on lego FB groups and people go looking (like i did) and some folks may buy something else.

I’ve already bought the G Wagon, $266 from Target, but holding off on the P1 until I see it built in store. Just doesn’t look right in the photos to me.

G wagon will be a good one i think.

re P1, all the big cars have their flaws looks/build wise (ive built them all so far) but i can look beyond some of those to be honest. It is lego after all. If lego spent more time making it even closer to the real deal then it'd cost more and IMO people would complain about the price even more than they do now!

Dont wait for mine, its still in the box

I’ve scored a couple of vintage Lego sets over the last few weeks. Growing up I had all my older brothers Lego and they had a Shell servo from the 80’s, ended up getting another one, some Fabuland, some Town sets, a Technic dirt bike from the early 90’s and a bulk bunch that has some late 80’s and early 90’s sets, but I haven’t sorted that yet.

Yeah I’ll post some up when I build them. I’m currently building the 90th Anniversary Castle, that’s a decent build. The designers have fit a bunch of Easter eggs into that build.

I was planning on spending my tax return at IKEA to upgrade my shelving, but we’ve just booked a trip to the US, so my Bunnings specials might have to do for a little longer.

I built this little set last night, I love the Super Mario line, it’s one theme they seem to put extra effort in with their adult sets.

Its a battle as im trying to get back in love with lego.

But im really enjoying it to be honest, having built the other ones. GT3RS/Bugatti Chiron/Lamborghini Sian and Ferrari SP3 Daytona although not in their release order. I can see the little changes and improvements lego has made. Ive made some small mistakes with this one. That said i have to be in the right mindset to build lego so i concentrate more if that makes sense!

I built a tonne of sets last year, but my mum became ill in Jan, and passed away from cancer in June. Had no interest in building to be honest. Have been building the G-wagon for months and months, it's nearly finished now.
