Default Temporary Use Spare Tyre

Does anybody know if a full size 15" rim and tyre will fit in the spare wheel well in a 5 door fiesta?

Yes it will ... circumference wise,

But it won't sit totally flat below the cardboard base as the spacesaver does.

I used to have a 17" Alloy in my Zetec instead of the spacesaver ... which is still sitting out in the garden shed to this day.

I have a stock 15inch as a spare. fitted easily removed the foam under the space saver as well so it didn't sit up.

Yep - like golden did, I removed the foam and I have a 15" alloy sitting there.

No way I want to be driving on a highway miles from anywhere being dependant on one of those stupid space savers.

The boot mat and cardboard base aren't perfectly flat, but I'm not worried.
