Default Red Light Video - ouch...

This is why you shouldn't run red lights...or be a pedestrian!

Seen it before. The guy survived too, one site explained it, the car rolled over him right where it was hit so there was a big cavity in the side of the car so he wasn't crushed.

If the PT Cruiser was running a Red light then the car that hit the pedestrian was going through green which also means the pedestrian was walking against a "Don't Walk" sign, this is J-Walking and this the reason why you don't do it.

Do you feel so sorry for him now? Not nice, but he put himself in that position.

That is what I suspected. This is a good example of why we should obey the 'Don't Walk' sign.

If you have a look at the lights it doesn't look like they are on at all and you should be able to see red amber or green because you can see the PT Cruiser brake lights come on just before impact so I don't think its a video quality issue

I saw a thread on this on another forum, apparently the guy was in a coma and died in hospital.

Here is another reason why you shouldnt run red lights......................also an even BIGGER reason as to why pedestrians should pay more attention.

Notice how the elderly driver of the Merc wagon doesnt even notice the hit?
