What is that 4Trac? Looks to me as if it may be based on the Territory.

If I'm correct, then it isn't a variant/spinoff of the F150 platform and instead was a concept created to preview the next generation Ford Courier/Ranger ute. There is a link in the Feb 06 Vfacts thread showing uncovered pictures of the final production version.

I heard the 4Trac maybe the courier replacement down the track.

I find it weird saying this ... the Hyundai Accent SR (turbocharged I think) actually looks half decent for a small car ... I really think Hyundai have piced up their game over the last year or 2 (starting with the Sonata).

Nice pics BTW

The Hyundai SR looks like a direct rip off of the XR5 Turbo, the BMW X5 underwealmed me compared to the Territory which is absolutely superb. Given the price differece (Aka House vs car) it looked like a waste of money.

The Aussie supercar was boring, its like a kit car with an LS1, wow... not. Holden had nothing new to show me, the EFIJY was simply a diversion so people wouldn't get sick of looking at the same Commodores albeit with even bigger engines and rebadged Deawoos. I enjoyed looking around the Ford stand, the BFs were very nice but I on't rate the new ute hardcovers at all. Plastic! THey are made of light bedy plastic! I can't beleive it! Really ИИИИ if you ask me. I'll stick with me fibreglass, carpet lined BA hard lid thanks.

Subaru offered the nicest vehicles of the lot, the XT Forester was awesome, although a little small. The liberty was still sexy, but I miss the GT already (awaiting the 2.5L Turbo later in the year!) THe B9 Tribeca is bloody good! Although its front looks are a little polarising.

My favourite was definately the Turbo Territory, but until prices are announced its a little unkown. I also really like the new Navara with its 403nm diesel. That will be my next work car, very nice inside and good looks. I was dissappointed with Toyota not having the new Camery thing, or an SR5 Hilux! Losers.

That was about it, I was in and out in 2 hours and was over at the V8 supercars were I saw Lowndes, Skaife, Ingall and Seaton. The cars looked great, so did the trucks!

Did anyone look at the new VW Passat? I didnt get any photos unfortunately, except of my 10 month old playing in the boot.

That is one seriously nice piece of kit for the money.... Basically an Audi A6 for $45k or AWD for $56k!!!

I want to ask did anyone get ripped off by the ford show bag. I got one from one of the chicks all it had was a poster in it! I was thinking ah thats bad but not too bad then I open the posters its a frickin focus with a pink handbag on the roof with a little mutt sitting in it. Needles to say it went to the nearest bin as quick as possible. I felt so dirty after holding the bag the rest of the day.
