I know the first response is going to be "wrong forum" yada yada. But I thought I'd try my luck, and see if anyone here would know someone who works at a Mazda dealer in the Sydney area (happy to be up near Newcastle, or Southern Highlands etc).
If all things line up, I am hoping to get in to the new MX5 RF. Thank you in advance. Here is a pic of my car to keep it a bit Ford related Berry-11 by Dave Bourne, on Flickr

From what I've heard West-End Mazda in Blacktown seem to keep getting Mazda dealer of the year. My BIL said they were good to deal with when he bought his 6 from there a while back as well.
Hope this helps. You're not trading the XR5 in on it I hope?

I'll check them out, thanks guys
If it all lines up, I'll either sell the 5, or trade, either one. After 8 years of having an XR5, it's time to move on. Plus have had a few moments recently that have hammered home the idea of not putting stuff off that you want to do. That old cliché of you never know what could happen.

Yeah Sutherland are fairly good, dealt with them last week, car delivered with a full tank, slimline plates and mats which was nice considering they weren't on contract. Maroun was straight forward as far as salesmen go. Their pre-delivery lady (ie, please buy paint protection) was a bit of a witch though.

if all he's doing is buying then I guess that works out OK for him.

Question from another Thread for someone in the market for the MX5, would you cross shop the MX5 with the convertible 4cyl Ecoboost mustang?
Since the are in the same sports car category

Also one a fast cruiser and the other one is a cornering dream. Owned a few MX-5's in my time (and demo's whilst working at Mazda) and was involved in the car club for a while. Both have their target audience but not a direct comparison I reckon. |

Only if it all works out DJ, which let's face it, with my luck won't be happening
To be honest, I would only ever want a Mustang if it was V8 and manual. I don't really care what the ecoboost is capable of, for me that is what a Mustang is. For that reason, No I wouldn't consider it.

Confirming my thoughts - you wouldn't cross shop them.
Tell you what through, Id consider the 124 Spider about 10 grand more but it has a turbo!

I've never heard anyone have a bad word to say about Moss Vale Mazda down this way.
Someone else for you to consider.

Mind you I'm talking used. The wife has bought 2 cars.from west end in North parramatta. They have been good both times. I was used as the negotiator, and not being my car my angle was to walk. They bent enough so happy days. My grandpa has bought 3 cars new from West end in North parramatta and has always been a happy customer. Mind you, that was an 81 626, an 89 626, and a 2000 626. I've had no dealings with their parts or service department. I have my own people for that. Compared to city ford where I obtained my fairmont, they were easy to deal with.
