Default charity car bashes?

Good evening,

Been something I've always wanted to do, participate in a charity car rally / bash. May have some free time in a year or two.

Is there any that are a regular thing? Will want one that starts in NSW.

Any suggestions or leads will be appreciated :-)

Cheers,

Jason

Well there's the Variety Charity Bash. You can choose your state, but this years NSW Bash looks to have started in Brisbane and come back down through NSW.

Only thing is the $$$ - starting price of a tax deductible $8500, then add you car costs I guess and other expenses.

I looked into a few years ago, but the dollars are big. I know it's all for charity but you've got to have the money available in the first place to give.

Thanks for that.

Just looked it up, looks like a lot of fun. They seem to visit a bunch of schools, which is right up my alley as I'm a chalky.

Got a few projects that will take up the next 12-18 months so may look at 2016.

I will assume a 'co-pilot' is required so we will split costs together.

Should be able to raise a decent amount as well

I'm currently fund raising to take a group of 20 kids overseas towards the end of 2016.. + building a house + bub on the way.

May need to be 2017...

Variety Bash left Suncorp Stadium here about four odd weeks ago and seems to be the most regular reoccuring bash.

amcr is driver and co- driver event . support crew , accommodation , evening meals and fun. depending on the duration of each years event your own cost is aprox $700 per person + each car to raise minimum of $2500.00. you must cover the cost of your own fuel .you may also have to pay a fee if you choose to enter cams sanctioned events.
