Cool Registering a LHD in QLD

Hi all Ive got my eye on a car in WA its a 1985 model with LHD
its registered in WA at the moment my questions are
can it be registered in QLD even though is only 29 years old
and can it be registered in QLD because its already registered in WA
or do I have to wait till next year
also does the 30 year rule apply to the manufacturing date of the car
or does it apply to the model year of the car
ie any time in that year or just from May or June or December of that year
thanks John
