Just a bit of a heads up for anyone in SA that might be in the market for a Customline wagon, an XW GT, LTD or a Ford Mercury............

Has somebody with a car collection gone bankrupt, or is it common to have so many classics in these Auctions?

I posted about 6 or so months ago that Pickles had picked up a large shed full of classics of various description.
Too a few car carries to remove them all
I would assume these may be part of it.

If it is, they belonged to a farmer from the YP.
There was rumoured to be a very low milage A9X Torana amongst them, but I'd doubt that would make it to Auction.

Sometimes they are seized goods after a drugs bust.
A few collector cars were recently forfeited here on the Gold Coast after such an operation.
