Im in melbourne and today snapped on my phone a ford in disguise driving around covered with canvas and chequered . It had one driver and 2 people in the back. It was left hand drive. Had the ford oval on the steering wheel. Dint know how to post the pic here using my phone . I dont want to rdit it snd lose high definition . I think it was a 4cyl as the muffler was fully exposed on right rear . The fromt grill was slat like and high mouthed . Headlights were slim from what i could see and the c pillar was bery wide . Almost like a hatchback but couldnt tell . Looked lile a small falcon . Frustrated as i have pic nit canmot post it

Could have been the small sedan Ford Australia are developing for China, the Escort. Story posted today on Caradvice website about it.

There was a Geely getting around that was confused for a Ford, but this doesn't sound like it.

Also saw a LHD Holden 'Chev' SS sedan in Ringwood yesterday, strange as the VF and Chev have been out a while.

The car in the pic looks to be RHD if that means anything .. If it was only for China wouldn't it just be developed in LHD?

Very "curvy" by the look of the tight covering on the rear.
Wonder what it is? |
