Big thanks to the guys at Shockworks.
Just upgraded to the non adjustable damper kits for my Fg and it has made a huge improvement to the handling without loosing the ride comfort. Excellent product and great guys to deal with. Craig |

Thanks Brett, i'm still tossing up whether to buy the replacement dampers with my lowered Kings or your full coil over set-up, the std gear is getting pretty buggered so i better hurry up and make up my mind.

The standard Xr6 springs work well with these but I have now bought the wife her own car so I can look at shifting the balance towards handling as opposed to handling/comfort.
Any ideas on the perfect spring rate and ride height to suit Brett? Craig |

Hey Craig,
I would stick around the 9 front and 7Kg rear rates for a good improvement and around the 355-360 as any lower and we find the car starts to get unsettled in the rear or not as connected. No progressive coils either!! Have fun mate.. Cheers Brett |

Do you produce springs on their own or just dampers and coilover kits?

Brett and Chris fitted a set of Shockworks dampers on my GT about 3 months ago. This addition has completely enhanced the cars performance.
I've done a track event at Winton, sandown and phillip island and the car felt incredible! After the last track day the front end was making a slight rattle. The boys at shockworks were happy to recheck over my car today. In the end it was nothing to do with the shocks, just a loose sway bar. Thanks for your great product and excellent service guys! cant wait to get some rubber on this thing to feel their full potential!! GT at Phillip Island http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0qJ2bKNBB4 |
