For me, its the EF XR6 Wagon on 18" GT-P's, and slightly tucking tire

the oldschool ones are the best looking but i am into the ef/ el ones too.
I am lucky enough to have owned both.. but at the mo i have a ef v8 wagon and am looking for a good xp wagon to do up rat rod style

there wasn't an EF Fairmont Ghia wagon made mate :(
That's why my Heritage green (now black) EF is going to be an XR6 Fairmont Ghia wagon hehe

i used to have a nice EA wagon, was a great car and i and miss it lol.. looked good all colour coded and lowered on EL XR8 wheels.

I would have to say it would be one of the Short Wheel Base (Falcon Sedan) ones. I think from XA on they start to look a bit long and bloated. While the extra Wheel Base was good for carrying extra Cargo, it spoiled the look of the Car.
My favorite would have to be an XY Fairmont GS. A Mate at work had one years ago and it was a great looking Car.
