While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Some parts of the city looked like a 3rd world country, such a shame to lose a important part of America's history.

So very true, not much mention of Ford though.

Town looked empty!

Would be hard to talk it up. Most of the show was nothing new to those with an interest in the motor industry.

Yeah, the town looked pretty run down and deserted, a shame because so much has come from that city and lots of history there. I had to admit, the Hydrogen car was pretty funny, water vapor stores more heat than CO2 does, so if everyone switched to Hydrogen cars, we'd have the same "problem" except worse, instead of CO2 credits, it'd be water vapor credits.

I like the former GM Exec talking about making the hard decisions. Words to the effect of if you had the choice between fixing a problem completely or taking the soft option, they'd always go the soft option.

Journalist talking about 70,000 jobs lost back in 2005 (a sign that there might be problems).

The Real Estate Agent driving around in his Merc (they should have asked him why he didn't buy American).

Also liked the African American GM workers family portrait with the Prez's cardboard cutout.

Last one, Simco & the Holden design team "saving the day" for GM.
