Default Insurance - XE Falcon V8

Gday,

Well I may be purchasing a 1982 Ford XE Falcon 351c soon, and I was looking into insurance and found that because of my age, it is hard to find anyone. I am almost 24 now.

So does anyone know who may insure me for this car, without charging me ridiculous amounts, etc???

Thanks for any help!

I tried Justcars online quote, no go! So i plan on ringing them tomorrow.
I think a reasonable amount is anything less than $800 really. It is not worth a lot of money so why i would be paying more than id pay for a BA Falcon is beyond me!

If you are not too worried about what its worth, then get third party property insurance, it will cover the other person if your at fault, Only thing to remember is you have to be prepared to lose your car and its value.
(which if is not a lot may just be worth while if you consider at 24 you would still have age excess as well)

Third Party Insurance will cover their car, Compulsory Third Party that you pay with your rego (Compulsory) will cover personal injuries
