Default Will these wheels fit my Capri?

Gday all,

Im interested in buying a set of Weld Racing wheels for my 69 Capri GT.

I know the bolt pattern is correct (108x4) but will these wheels actually fit in my standard capri? The fronts are 15x7 and the rears are 15x8. Are they too wide, or will i have to lip the guards?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Matty

Its difficult to say without knowing tyre size. I have a set of 15x7s with 195/60 front and 225/60 rears and they scrape on an Escort. I haven't try them on my Capri, but I'd image they'd scrape as my car sits low. I run 14x6s superlites with 195/60s and they are fine. I'd say you'd need to go with some very low-profile tyres (like 50/55s) and keep the widths below 205.
