Default What grease for o2 sensor threads

Car has been running rough, and recently threw a P0171 code, so I decided to clean the O2 sensors. Currently have the sensors soaked in petrol.

When I put them back in, do I need to use grease / anti seize on the threads? If so, can I use any old grease or does it have to be a specific kind?

Anti-seize.
New sensors generally come with this already on the threads. Helps removing them after heat cycling

Anti seize or copper grease. Super Cheap has anti seize for under $10 a tube.

Thanks. I'll have to pick some up tomorrow and re-apply it.

Damn...the car idles perfectly now, and the way it accelerates is way smoother.

Not sure if it is due to the O2 sensor clean, or whether because the temp is cooler and the tune is adjusting. The last week, which has been hot and humid in Melb, it was spluttering and coughing at idle.

Have also cleared the DTC so will see if P0171 comes back.
