Hi. When I had my windowless XE about 25% were windowless, I cant believe that there were only 7 of these. Cheers MD

Post a pic in the stolen car thread too. These things are a target unfortunately. Easy to get in & easy to start. Should've had an immobiliser. Sorry but I'd say it's history. Slim chance he'll get it back in one piece. It looked hotted up just enough to draw the attention of the wrong idiot I'd say.

Keep an eye out in the local area. Chances are it was stolen by someone who frequents the area or lives locally. Post some flyers around too.

I had an '85 XF s-pack for 10 years & it was never broken into or stolen on my watch (Cyclops paralyser fitted) . Ironically I bought it from my cousin in Canberra & in the 2 years he had it, it was broken into once & weeks later stolen by junkies!

Worn down keys are also an issue with these (can open & start X mod's with almost any key shaped object). In Canberra I fitted a steering wheel brace lock & the cyclops as I soon realized that one of my mates who owned an XD could open my car & start it with his keys. Scary thought!

Hope you find it mate!

I'm based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, but I'll keep a lookout during my travels nonetheless!
