Default Wheels That Fit Brembo Brakes

I would like to compile a list of wheels that fit over Brembo or AP racing brake kits to assist forum members of what they can purchase when they want a brake upgrade as it is a question often asked. This may of been done before but i would like to see this updated because of the amount of new wheels coming through.Any help is much appreciated just list your wheels up here please.

I have a FGXR6T and went through this process in detail after upgrading to Brembos at the front.

I have 18" BA Typhoon rims that clear for the street.
18" x 8.5" Enkei RPF1 for the track.

Rims which also clear from other forum members:
Enkei RP03, PF01
Zumbo Yako clear AP, not Brembo with dba5000.
Volk TE37 clear.
Wolf S36
http://www.wolfwheels.co.nz/wheels/
Axis Hiro
Pretty sure 18" Speedy Cobalts and 19" Infernos do but a test fit may be required.

Hey Matt, I have been doing my own research into this issue so far as the wheels fitted to the rear of my BA do not clear Brembos (20x10'). The brand is Vertinni Sicilians.

To my knowledge so far is that most if not all 19x8.5 and 20x8.5' rims will clear Brembos. Both the 4 and 6 pot. But the staggered offset of 19x9.5 and 20x10' do not. I could be wrong but I have looked into over 2 dozen wheel designs so far and yet to find a staggered rear wheel that will clear the 4 pot rear Brembo.

G-Max Wheels (located in Perth and actually a manufacterer) have a great website of their wheel designs which have a good menu that shows what wheels will and will not clear Brembos. But thats just their wheels, not sure about other wheel company websites. But yeah, G-Max so far have clarified what wheels and offset do clear Brembos in their range, which maybe go to most staggered rear wheels. I Linked a picture of my rear wheel, just to show my lip and offset.

The useless set of Marcello's in my Garage says differently. Not all will clear in fact I believe only one style does.

YES and if we can get brand and type of wheel this helps as most brands will only have 1 or 2 that will clear them.

Yes the staggered offsets have been a problem but also some offsets in some wheels are great but the spoke clearance ends up being a problem.Thankyou for the website reference it does help.

It isn't about cost so don't worry. The fact we have another wheel and brand is the main help and gives more people choice when deciding.

Hey Matt, when i was at the goldcoast 600 the pedders FG turbo course car had the factory upgraded 19s but also had a set of AP racing 4 pistons, not sure of the rotor size. Its been reprted that the XR 19s dont clear brembo, so maybe the the AP calipers are slightly smaller?

Have looked into it but no closer to finding out as yet. They may be the 6 piston 362mm kit we sell.

I have a 18 x 8.5 Gram Light 57's that easily clear my front 4-pot Brembos (FG). I think they are a +35 offset, but should probably double check that.

ROH Modena 3 piece wheels clear front 4 piston Brembo calipers on my BA. I have not got rear Bremobos so cannot comment on if the rears clear.

i have tried my 18" ROH modena 3 piece and they DO NOT fit over brembos.
seems even when you order them to fit the dumb muppets at the tyre shop forget to specify GT and you get a 30P offset. DOH!

I have been looking at Enkei RPO3 and BBS CH in 19x8.5" and wondered whether any other members can tell me if they fit BFs with brembos and if so what were the offset dimensions and anything else needed to make them fit ie hub ring etc.
Cheers

Enkei RP03 fit AU's with Brembos so BF shouldn't be any issues, same uprights, calipers, discs etc

GT450 - yes, BBS CH 19X8.5 +35 Clear OE FPV Brembos.

One thing i have found out about these BBS CH wheels is that in the 19x8.5 / 19x9.5 size they are not made in the 5x114.3 PCD required for Falcons........so how come you can find them for sale? Because the the PCD is "modified" ie Redrilled locally....probably with inserts. Im sure they are done properly, but just something to bear in mind
