The article mentions the wagon possibly being a bit tricked up.
It would take quite a lot to upshow the Orion release i would have thought

I have a friend who has some inside info, but this was going back before the VE was released, he told me the Torana WILL be put into production, but not till 08, so that makes sense that they would unveil it there, Ford have A LOT of catching up to do really, the Orion better be good.

meh Ford have already shot themselves in the foot. I'm going to put it out there and say the Orion won't be what we all hope it will, and Ford will have no clue what to do, to save their backside. They've already taken far too long to release something which i believe, will only MATCH the VE series 1 from 2006.

Please prove me wrong though!

I'm guessing a 7 litre prototype, and yes most likely in a Torana.

GMH have a long history of show stoppers and doing it very well.

With the whole world (or at least anyone who cares) knowing the the Orion release is at this years MMS. To think that they would not have several Concept / HSV 7L cars would be niave and to grossly underestimate a fairly worthy opponent.

"GENERAL Motors global product boss Bob Lutz has revealed that Holden is putting the finishing touches on a concept car to be shown at the Melbourne International Motor Show next month.

Not wishing to steal Holden’s thunder, Mr Lutz would not give any details away about what the concept might be, other than to say that it is one of the best he has ever seen. “(Holden) are working on a design down there that is going to knock everybody’s socks off,” Mr Lutz said. “And I am extremely proud of the design. It will emerge as one of GM Holden’s proudest

That statement would suggest that it will top Monaro (pretty good), Torana (pretty good), and EFJIY (stunning). I understand is purely a concept car, probably cobbled together in Holden skunkworks just to show they can.

But personally I hope its a production Torana with TT Diesel.
