I have a 1998 4.0i panel van. Next to the milage display on my dash there is a spanner symbol, I guess this is telling me I need a service. Does anyone know how to turn this off?

1998, I thought you held the ODO reset button in. If no trip computer ?? Maybe even hold it in before and while you turn the ignition on?

Turn the car off first, not even accessories.
Push in the ODO / Trip meter reset button and hold it in. Turn on the car to just before starting. After 10 seconds, it'll beep and clear the spanner.
